Ali Mountain (Alishan)

The second place that I wish to visit is Ali Mountain (in chinese : 阿里山,Ali Shan).

It is also located in Taiwan . Alishan's full name is The Alishan National Scenic Area . It is a mountain resort and natural preserve located in the mountains of Chiayi Country in Taiwan , Republic of China . Alishan is 415 km2 in area .

The attractions of Alishan are

• mountain wilderness

• villages

Legend has it that in ancient times , the Tsou tribe fled to Yushan to seek refuge from a flood and after flood receded,the god of heaven , Hama , made footprints between the mountains along which the people migrated and established their villages . The social units were village , clan, joint family and family.The two largest villages today are Dabang and Tefuye .

I know about the Alishan because there is a famous Chinese's folk song which name "Ali Shan de gu niang" (mean that the girl of Ali mountain) . I heard the name of Alishan from my parent when I was just 3 years old .I get attracted by the cultural and the natural of Alishan.
Alishan is really a cool place for natural lover to relax.
